During the Dale Jr press conference that confirmed that Dale Jr will be driving for Hendrick it was mentioned that Budweiser may be interested in going with someone new and Kasey Kahne was mentioned. that sounds like a win win for Evernham making it so the Dodge sponsorship would be for 1 car instead of 2 leaving Budweiser for Kasey and Dodge for Elliot Sadler.

He would still be driving a Dodge for Ray Evenrham. And the way sponsorship goes Dodge would still be a minority sponsor on the 9 if Budweiser did go to Evernham.

 

I personally don't see Kahne drinving for bud. He just doesn't have the image. He's not a guys guy you know. To much of a pretty boy IMO

Kahne has said many times he doesn't want to drive for any owner but Ray and I highly doubt Dodge would want to lose their most marketable driver

 

It was already rumored that Kyle Busch will end up at DEI replacing Dale Jr. The number 8 may be swapped for the number 5 but I doubt that will happen since the 8 was h original number at DEI and he 5 was Hendricks first number when he got started.

 

If Bud came over to Evernham and the #9, I would be cool with it.

Kasey may be the most marketable Dodge driver; but when Newman is on his game, he's the best.
