Dale Earnhardt Jr. gained a few points on Chase leader Kurt Busch by finishing third. Busch finished right behind him in fourth place.


Rusty Wallace and Jeff Gordon both received heavy damage when they got together on lap 76.


Elliott Sadler leads Casey Mears early in the UAW-GM Quality 500.


Rebounding from a disasterous race at Kansas, Jimmie Johnson earned a much-needed victory in the UAW-GM Quality 500.


Matt Kenseth had an eventful night at Lowe's. He was involved in two accidents, but managed to finish 11th.


Kasey Kahne dominated the race before he got into the wall on lap 267. He finished the race 32nd.


Mark Martin's pit crew gets to work during the UAW-GM Quality 500. Martin later was caught up in a wreck and finished 13th.


Kurt Busch cuts through the grass to avoid a wreck on lap 312. Busch finished the race fourth.


Jimmie Johnson does a burnout in celebration of his victory in the UAW-GM Quality 500. With the win, he rebounds from a disasterous race at Kansas.

Hmmm, Dale Jr's slip of the lip looks even bigger now.

 

It wasn't the wall that got him, he blew he right front tire in turn 1, which put him into the wall... man was I swaring up a storm when that happened!
