Default well this sucks..

So my brother and i were out test driving trucks today..and we test drove a dodge 1500 4 door hemi and a chevy 3/4 ton 4 door with the top gas engine from them..and i hate to say it but stock for stock the chevy would rape the hemi...and i hate chevy's[:'(]

hmmm...did you race them head to head?

the strongest chevy gas engine, i believe to be the 6.0 VVT engine, making 353hp and 373 tq, but the quad cab chevy in a 2wd weighs around 5500lbs

the hemi ram makes 345hp and 375tq, but theyre under 5000lbs.

id have to see a new chevy beat a ram at anything...head to head.

no not head to head..and the chevy is making 378 almost 4 and this chevy had a 6 inch lift and 33's on it..it pulled soo much harder then the hemi... i was like wow..and i hate chevy's

Sorry 367 i couldnt remember what the sales man said..but im pretty sure the chevy would take the hemiit put me back in my seat way harder then the dodge

i would be surprised if 23hp made up for the weight difference from a 1500 ram to a 3/4 ton chevy...especially on 33s...

oh yea..but i mean stock for stock 1500 vs 1500 yes that particular truck wouldnt but if it was a 1500 it would..i dont care i woulkd still buy the dodge over the chevy. i was just really suprised cuz ive never really looked into chevy. kind of caught me off gaurd..but dodge is better

....the chevy couldn't take me unless he has a blower.... based on all the times i'v gone to the track and have seen the new 6.0 trucks there...

Look at chevy this way, the truck engines are getting design brought down from the LS series. You can not bore out an LS series. Ultimatley GM is building throw away motors. 100k, drop it before it dies. And the new trucks front suspension is crap, even fords' is better. Stick with the Ram. lol

Where, oh where, did you get that from???? You do realize than the LS series of V8's is one of the greatest engines in the last ten years, right????
