Default Laser wins one, loses one.

Headed out for a bit tonight, I came across a guy in a pretty clean 3rd gen Camaro Z28. It sounded like an automatic, and sounded like it maybe had an exhaust system. I was behind him for a few miles, when we both turned onto a big open stretch of highway. He jumped on it, with my behind him, and I played catch up for a second...catching and passing around 85 or so...at which point he left off. At the next light, he was behind me, and I pulled out of the light, keeping it in first gear to see what he would do, and sure enough, he swung out next to me, getting along side, then he hit it...i didnt have much range left in 1st gear, but by the time i went to third, i was well ahead. at the next light, he pulled up next to me, and i was wondering if he would try from a dig, but he turned after giving me a nod.

a bit up the road, i came up on a very loud black 4th gen SS. Im well aware that my car should not keep up with evena stock SS, but it was worth a try...i was right, i could not keep up. I might have had my nose ahead for about 10 feet, until he got traction and caught me, and gradually walked away from me...

i also ran next to a blue SRT4 for a bit, but he wouldnt do anything but rev and blow off at me (not that i know if i had a shot against him) as well as a four eye fox body, who tried to swing around me leaving a light, and when i jumped on it, he missed a gear...

haha good to see it is at least being used!

How much boost are you pushing through it with your modified selenoid?

i dont have a real boost gauge yet, but with the stock gauge, it rides a little higher than halfway between 7 and 14...maybe 12ish?

at least yours is in psi, for some reason the canadian ones were in bars. One time my line to the wastegate came off and it was boosting as high as the turbo would go, damn that thing felt fast until it shot out the dip stick and covered my engine in oil[8D]

I know what it is, but I am so used to psi when someone tells me that they run 1 bar of boost I have to convert it to relate it in my head. Thats why I always prefed psi, same difference though I suppose
