there are a few poor little rich boys who run Z0-sux's at my home track, the one guy runs regular 14s..

the other runs magazine times; mid to high 12s...and ive had the pleasure of hammering him once...

another one is blown...and i dont pick on him...

ya know what else is funny?

when a 11 second fox body cobra has to run my buddy in his 15 second sebring, with an empty Zex bottle...heads up...the sebring pulls the big holeshot, and as the big bad stang caches up, he misses a gear and blows the motor all over the track...i love the sound of ford motor parts bouncing off the guard rails..

 

LMAO....that is too funny. Last time I was at the track I kept getting behind a guy with a Camaro (I don't really remember) who busted two times in a row when I was behind him. Then I have to wait while they clean up all the **** his car dropped....I really get tired of waiting when all the mustangs, camaros, etc break ****. I've never seen a sport compact car break anything except for an all motor honda crx that was makin some serious power (11s on all motor)....and he broke a cv joint at the line. They pushed it aside and he fixed his car and drove it home later that night!

 

yeah..the only thing i see happen alot in the SC class is LOTS of broken half shafts and blown clutches...

 

Hard to break stuff if there's not enough power. If you over rev it the engine will go too. Thank goodness for rev limiters.

 

Nice job with the Z-06.[sm=smiley20.gif] It's been a while since I've ran mine but it's just a matter of time before I get another chance.

 

Oh I totally realize that todd, but I have friends who run in the 13s consisently that should be hitting high 12s next season and they don't need to break stuff to do it. I just get really irritated waiting while they clean the track up from parts and fluid being spilled all over the place. It always seems to happen right in front of me. I wish there was a day just for the sport compacts....

 

your track doesnt have "hot import night" or "fast and furious night"?
