I was just wondering if anyone has ever raced an older porsche 911 turbo in their srt-4? I know the newer ones have like 400 horespower but has anybody ever raced an older one? What was the outcome? Just curious.

 

How old are you speaking of? The last body-style 911 Turbo's have 400HP and run low 12's. The Turbo 'S' models have 450HP and are much quicker because of a more aggressive ECU tuning andn reduced turbo lag at low rpms.

 

i seen the video of a viper and a 911 turbo doing some runs, i dont think anymodel of the srt4 would stand much of a chance aganst any year 911, i wish though . just my opinion, could be wrong (nah)

 

unless the SRT-4 was HEAVILY modded, and the 911 turbo like stalled out-no way

 

The Porshe is still a V6. It's definately possible, but no I've never seen the two race.

a v6 with a twin turbo that has a hp output of around the 400 mark...I love my car and in my opinion, bang for the buck, a porsche doesnt come close, not one...but they call it an exotic for a reason...a 911 turbo is in an entirely different class and should be compared to cars like the viper, ford gt, ferrari 550 maranello and a murcielago, not a sport compact sedan...just my .02

exactly what i'm saying...if you compare the two cars stock-for-stock, a SRT-4 will not stand a chance

if you are talking about the two cars being modded, if both cars have equal work, than again the 911 turbo wins

the SRT-4 will ONLY win if the 911 turbo is stock and the SRT-4 has many mods, but than again any heavily modded car can realistically beat any other stock car

 

The only other ways an SRT-4 will win is if the driver of the 911 is completely stupid or if there is the exact same amount of money in each one (this includes the purchase price of the cars).

 

The only way you would win is if you paid someone to shoot the one of the Porshe's tire out during the race.

I know you've heard it a thousand times now.....but once again....the 911 turbo will blow your doors off. Don't hate me, i'm just letting you know.
