I read that he had a 'slightly modded' 5.9, what did he have? I'm honestly shocked. lol

it was retarded. i'm not tryign to hate on people with an open rear end...but while i was pulling up to pre-stage, he backed into the burnout box each time, and burned out dragster style and went like 30feet past starting line...it was goofy as hell. and i sat there with the first set of stage lights on waiting for him for like a minute...as he peeled out his open rear end liek 150 feet...i felt it was so unnecesarry. he wouldn't have problems with the wheels sticking on that sticky *** track.
and yes, i'm surprised too. i know i have gears in mine, but i didn't think a 360 would be behind me. after the 1/8 i wasn't going any further ahead of him...he was gaining ever so slightly as you can see if the results i posted.
anyways, when i ran with a f150 down in joliet last month...he had the 4.6. i took him to the 1/8 by 6/10ths, but he ended up winning the 1/4 by that amount. those extra two cylinders caught him up...whereas my v6 can't spin my big gear at those high speed. but i did notice, after being told by many people, that second gear is my 'gear'. they said i hit second and take off. but 3rd is a joke..lol

and i made this for us...you know, the sappy 'first-time' thing...he's already got it framed and hanging on his wall...lol. i want 16's before the end of the summer =)

I'm suprised as well. I assume the 3.7 you have is the same 3.7 as is in my Girlfriend's Liberty. It seems like a good engine, I just wouldn't have imagined it could push a fullsize that well.
Sounds like a fun day though.

union grove is the place to go though. it's ghetto as hell. they let people ride with you..some people had windows open, etc. joliet is like a real nice track. i spent 10 hours there and got 3 runs in. in uin i spent 3 hours there, and got like 7 or 8 or however many io posted in that thread.
