I was out in my moms old 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, really nice car and well taken car of. I bought if off of my parents few moths ago for $10,000 / college graduation present, i am poor so i make payments..lol car is fine really but the on;y reason my parents sold it to me was my mom is like a Saab fanatic loved her jeep but has Swedish car in her (it was all she owned for 20 years) and bought one . Well anyway you get the idea, its a nice car w/ 30,000 miles so ilove it.. no mods until i get a job except for an air horn which is awesome by the way lol <IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0"><IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">


Well now that you have some history ... lol i was coming home from a Friends house at about 10:30 and some guy in his Honda civic with the coffee can muffler comes up next to me and rev's it.. laughed at his weed whacker and went to the next light.. the guy did a burn out at the light that was quite nice to be honest reversed it and was like do you wanna go!!!I flipped on the air horn and gave him a commanding yes... <IMG src=smileys/smiley17.gif border="0">lol;</P>


Well, right before the light turned green he reved his engine up to what sounded like 5 grand which made me wonder if the guy wasn't some wacko street racer. I was still confident that theV8 could take him The light turned green i sped off and as i was looking next to me his car tires weresmoking as he was sitting there and i got a lead. </P>


When he shifted into third or something i wasn't sure about my speed, i just heard a grinding noise ( i mean loud)looked in my mirrorand sparks and i mean like a ton of sparks came from under his car as he slowed to a stop i almost wrecked i was laughing so hard.

lol..... yah it was a perfect example of a kid who can't drive his car. When i first saw the sparks i thought his car was on fire or wrecked. </P>

My guess is the kid put his huge muffler on himself anddidn't know what he was doing.Maybewhen he made a hard shift or what everthe muffler fell out or came downcame down and scraped.

He probably torqued it too much and dropped the transmission. When my dad was little they used to go to the drag strip and he said some guy in a Skylark torqued it before the light turned green and the transmission fell out of the car. <edited><editID>vHiEpMeIr</editID><editDate>38022.6675462963</editDate></edited>

tryin to launch a lttle 1.8l engine with fwd and a weak transmission at the rev limiter hes dumb obviously he wasnt confident enough to beat a jeep or he wouldnt of broke his car. lol thats funny i dont care who u are
