dodge ram quadcab hemi vs nissan titan
Actually, your both right.
Matt. A QC Ram vs. the 4-dr titan (whatever they call it), the titan wins.
Tim. Reg cab Ram vs titan non 4-dr (whatever they call it), the Ram wins. Because now the Ram has the weight/HP advantage.
The question was a QC vs. a nissan titan, which implies any titan to me since one wasn't specified. Winner titan in this particular example.

I know we're talking Hemis here but let us SRT guys in on the fun too. John Hennessey just baselined a quadcab SRT-10 with only a CAI and Magnaflow catback and stock tires at 13.29 @ 103 mph. Bring on the Titans any time.

Not fair at all either.
Why? We're talking full size trucks aren't we? I know the original question was Hemi Ram vs Titan but wasn't some Titan guy on here before flaming Rams? Well, I say, bring on your best and run against our best. C'mon, I want to play too. PLEEEEASE! Pretty PLEEEEASE!
We keep the SRT-10 in reserve for the heavy weight trucks, like the Lightening and Gibbs trucks. Besides, if the titan guys want to go, I'm sure someone with a reg cab Hemi can step up.

TruckTrend recently did a test drive all the 1/2 ton trucks. A Crew Cab 2WD Titan did 0-60 in 7.6 seconds. A Quad Cab Hemi 2WD did it in 7.7 (but it also had the 20" rims which makes it slower). Their 1/4 mile times were even at 17.6 seconds.
Neither one of them will blow the other one away. Driver skill can give a slight advantage. But going full speed in a straight line, the Titan will be quicker 0-30 (becuase of its shorter gears), but the Hemi will start to pull more 30-60+ (because of the HP advantage).

And I say, even if the Ram is a tad slower, so what. I would say it's slower because it's hevier. It's hevier because it's a better built, more solid, tougher truck. The exrta weight it gains from being made more heavy duty, makes it a tiny bit slower. And even at that, it's only a tenth of a second. SO FREEKIN' WHAT!?! I'll take the Ram any day of the week. If we really wanted to do a fair comparison, we should be talking about a tug of war instead of a race. I bet the ram would kick the Titans little you know what at that game!
