Ram Vs. Mustang
Some person on this one forum I was looking at raced their Mustang against a Ram...the Mustang one the race...Ask Matt, he'll tell ya. How could that happen, unless the Stang had mods and crap. The guy said that Fords own Dodges...

RE: Ram Vs. Mustang
That Ram didn't have the Hemi in it Sniper. I just realized that [&:] But still, if the Ram was modded good enough, I'm sure it could handle a Mustang.

RE: Ram Vs. Mustang
well do the math
a ram is a 4000lb beast with the aerodynamics of a brick
a crustang has decent aerodynamics and doesnt weigh a whole lot
i dunno wut generation each was but the 5.0s push out around what the 5.9s do i believe
correct me if im wrong

RE: Ram Vs. Mustang
Yeah. Rams are, like, made for muddin and stuff so they have tires that would give traction or friction or something right? So they could gain speed faster. Mustangs arent really made for that stuff so they wont have tires like that. But I get what your saying, the Mustang would be more aerodynamic and lighter than the Ram would be.

RE: Ram Vs. Mustang
not really
not necasarrily
my dads truck has decent street tires and those arent for muddin but theyll get tracton better than mud tires, why?
because with mud tires less rubber touches the ground with mud/rock terrain tires

RE: Ram Vs. Mustang
Let's look at this again. Stock vehicles only.
2004 Hemi Ram vs. Ford Mustang GT
Winner is the GT in the quarter, 0-60mph, road course, whatever. Even with mods. the Ram is going to lose when the same mods are applied to both.

RE: Ram Vs. Mustang
Yeah. I'm just looking at a street race since that is what most people do. Oh yeah, I forgot, the Mustang would spank the Ram topend too thanks to the darn speed limiter.[:@]
