i saw that the other day, its a sweet looking car, and i would LOVE to see it in the sprint cup series too but if we do im sure it will be a while

 

Holy crap, that thing looks mean.

 

the way i see it, GM and toyota call the shots in nascar, and the fact that ford and dodge have gone to this personalized front end and the other two havent, is their way of saying "no".

if toyota wants to run a car in nascar, they could at least offer a rwd car..or a coupe....or a V8. remember the "500 cars" from back in the day? when a company had to actually produce a car in similar form to the race cars? those were the days.

 

i wish that was the way it worked still, i remember hearing about those days, but im too young to remember watching those races

 

yeah..those days were before my time as well, but look at some of the awesome models that came out of it...like the charger 500s, and the superbird/daytonas...another downfall of the current system is that we, as consumers, lose out on the chance to buy models like that...
