Default NEED OPINIONS ON THE CHARGER...

I was contacted by someone who asked me if I could find out Dodge Enthusiasts reaction to the Charger back in NASCAR.

So... drum roll please...

Does everyone like having the Charger in NASCAR?

I watch Nascar every now and then and enjoy seeing the Charger in it. Nascar should allow the Hemi engine though.

It seems like the Charger has had a lot of problems. It only has 1 win in the Nextel Cup Series. Kinda sad. I have heard problems like over-heating. So far, the Charger is not doing well.

Improvements need to be made.......

Total Wins (Nextel/Busch)
Dodge Charger
2005 - (1) (2)

Dodge Intrepid
2004 - (4) (3) wins
2003 - (8) (3) wins

In The Top 30.......... (Only 3 in the Chase for the Cup)
7 -1 Ryan Newman 1856 -317 15 5 0 4 7 $2,632,710
8 -- Rusty Wallace 1848 -325 15 0 0 2 7 $2,151,930
11 +1 Jamie McMurray 1799 -374 15 0 0 3 6 $1,872,040
-----------------------------------------------------------------
13 -- Jeremy Mayfield 1756 -417 15 0 0 2 2 $2,041,850
20 -1 Kasey Kahne 1600 -573 15 2 1 4 4 $2,300,240
24 -2 Sterling Marlin 1439 -734 15 0 0 1 3 $1,896,870
25 -- Casey Mears 1408 -765 15 0 0 1 2 $1,817,310
30 -3 Jeff Green 1333 -840 15 0 0 0 0 $1,791,680

i like that the Charger name is back on the NASCAR scene, but it doesnt seem very competitive. Regardless of the reason for these troubles, the Dodge NASCAR engineers need to work these bugs out. We have the drivers that can win, now they just need the car to do hold up its end.

I agree. The Charger needs improvements now! I heard the NASCAR Charger was designed and tested in cold weather, thus being the main problem for its lack of success. They say the car has been getting vaporlock in the warmer months causing the car to "go away" towards the end of the race. Either that's true, or Chevy and Ford have it in the bag as far as the engine and vehicle design is concerned. What I don't understand is, how are we constantly getting poles? Something just isn't right.

It would be harder to bring back the hemi know though. With all the restrictions that NASCAR has, it wouldn't be like it used to. I think I'm the only one that said no lol. I think they could've done a better job testing before releasing it into NASCAR, that's the only reason I don't like it because it makes dodge look like asses, also of course of the name but we won't go into that lol.

Over heating, and spoiler issues too.

It seems like the Charger is good at the start and then fades.

It will be perfected, no worries...........
