I'd love to see an SRT4 on that Speed Channell show "Pinks"
No one wants to race because they will have a bruised ego getting trounced by a "Neon". LOL I love it!

I have yet to encounter an SS going the same way as me, but I've seen them going the opposite direction. Even if I do it won't matter unless they try to mess with me, but if they do then it's on.
SS's have nothing on SRT's..any of them..

EDIT: Pinks is a pretty cool show, I personally wouldn't do it unless I had a hugely built car and I was loaded so I could recreate it easily...

Those CaCa-bolt SS's are crap...honestly. My buddy Evan, has a stock SRT-4. We raced a SS down the quarter mile and put a good car lenght on him from a dig. From a roll...for get about it...we murdered him. Teh SS's=Teh suck!
Cobalt SS's are garbage. I test drove one for the fun of it. Of course the dealership guy insisted on going with me and would not shut up about "how fast it was" and how "amazed" I was going to be" Lol, please. I was ripping on it and it felt a lot slower then the SRT-4. We were mostly going on straight aways on the highway and he still had his mouth moving in an uncontrollable rant about about "what a sweet deal this car is". I was done with this guy. I saw an exit on the highway that went in a loop which the speed limit dropped from 70 to 40. I slowed to 70. His eyes got real big as I started into the turn. I tore *** around this turn. I thought he was going to puke. I was still not real impressed with it's cornering capabilities but at least the jackass quit talking.
I saw a 4 door Cobalt SS tonight, I thought all the supercharged SS versions were coupes, but this one had a good sized dual muffler and outlet exhaust. If they do have supercharged 4 door versions, then I would love to see how they perform since they are more like the SRT-4 than the coupe and the coupe still loses.
It's funny how they will rave about it and say what a great deal it is, yet it costs more than and doesn't perform as well as the SRT-4.

I could be wrong but I don't think they make a 4-dr Supercharged version. As I remember correctly the SS only have single exhaust.

Something you also should remember, is that this is a 2.0L engine and its S/C'd. It's not going to perform as good as the SRT-4's 2.4L and the turbo. It's also about the exact same weight as the Neon despite being a 2dr. It's not much slower then the SRT-4....but its not beating the SRT-4 stock for stock.
That said, it's a decent lil 4 banger for a person looking into a coupe....I've driven worse...
