how did you get it to 3400lbs? i have alot of weigh reduction stuff done to mine, and it still tipped the scales at almost 3700bs...

 

Bored and with plasma cutter to futz with! no more; front inner aprons, door beams and most of inner door structures fixed windows in up postion removed power door locks and windows, hacked away in trunk for fuel cell fitting and package shelf area, made fiberglass hood, no hood hinges, cut trunk lid inner structure out, removed front bumper beam and replaced with aluminum fixture, removed rear bumper crash absorbers and steel stuff replaced with some scrap titanium stuff, removed everything forward of "A" pillar dash wise and made dash panel out of .090 5051 aluminum same material for rear bulkhead with 1/2" steel square framing only insturments in it are oil pressure, temp and a tach, fuel pump, ignition and crank button in aluminum console on trans tunnel next to shifter red top optima in trunk, lost the front sway bar, only front bucket seats from "E" body. Original car weight was just under 4,000 lbs (****) before spring changes all weight removal raised ride height almost 2" in rear! and about a 1/2" in front! I still wanna hack at the "K" member some time and fit a manual steering box as offsetting the weight of roll bar I gotta put in would be nice.

 

Pat - You probably would have lost if it was a RC 4x2...

 

no i dont think its got a stock tranny cooler if it has one i dunno about it lol, im saving up for my next mod is a computer and a possi track, should keep it from spinning so much from take off

 

i should hope that i would have lost if it was a 4x2...it has alot bigger motor than my little mitsudge, and my car is unfortunately pretty heavy...and at the same time, if i had a mtx, and he was a 4x2, i still would have stood a good chance...
