Charger Daytona
There were a host of cosmetic options (a lot of brushed aluminum trim) but the performance mods included: Long Runner Aluminum Intake (very similar to the Lightning), 3.27 gears, Tremec 3650 trans (Only in the Cobra and Bullitt in 2001), 3/4 lowering springs, Heavier Sway Bars, Chambered Exhaust with rolled tips and 13" Brembo Brakes (same as the Cobra). Performance numbers for the stock Bullitt were around 13.8-14.0 at about 98MPH or so (give or take). So, the new Charger would certainly be a handful if you happened to have a stock Bullitt and tried to race. Oh, these cars were also numbered as well. There were about 5,000+ made, mine is #0399. For a ton more info, take a look at IMBOC.com. This is the official registry and there are some very cool folks on that board. Thanks for the interest!

No, not really. The Cobra that year had an independent rear suspension and a 32 valve version of the 4.6 liter modular motor. It was basically a GT with some cosmetic changes and some nice handling and brake modifications. The intake was a big benefit if you added a supercharger like I did. The long runners are great for forced induction.
