who'd win?

RE: who'd win?
Well Taurus SHO has 220HP/222Torque, while the Stealth has 218HP/205Torque, they both have 3.0L engines i believe also. I dont know how much they each weigh, but i think a Taurus is over 3500LB. It also depends on how you race, dead stop, a roll at 60mph, etc...
I suppose the Taurus would win if you started at 60 just b/c it has more torque, but from a dead stop it would be pretty close i guess. Plus there both autos so it would be closer still...why dont you race whoever has the SHO and find out???

While base horsepower and weight is a quick comparision, engine design (camshaft lift/duration, valve size, intake/head design etc...) and gearing play a big part. This is especially true if the horsepower/tourque ratings are close. Good example, a naturally aspirated stealth vs. a regular full size V8 truck. Trucks typically have more horsepower/tourque but loose to the stealth.
