You must have been racing some crappy preludes, not to mention, your neon is turbo charged, and a prelude is N/A, Turbo charge a 2.2 vtec motor. Then race, Also racing a v8 against a probably bone stock prelude, yes, the guy had to have messed up pretty bad. A gt should walk all over a stock prelude. Another thing also, the prelude came in three different motors, a single cam non vtec, and 2.3 dohc non vtec, and a 2.2 vtec. Also then coming in stick or atuo, the auto sucked even worse. So you can't clump all preludes together in one barrel. a hopped up 2.2 vtec, CAN be pretty quick.
The prelude I had was a 2.2 vtec, with some mods, it was in the very low 13's, not that that's fast by no means, they are heavy, but as I recall, the turbo neon is right around there with mods. and I don't think a tiburon is any where near that. Just playing the opposite side of the coin here.

I lost to a auto Prelude once, it was my friend Caitlyn, yes a girl... but then again, I drive a Neon SE and she didn't have to shift...

Doesn't matter how crappy the Prelude is, he still would have owned it...

Oh your right, absolutely, every import on the face of the planet is slow, what was I thinking.
Nothing like a good ol fashion one sided comment, to make you look silly.
On a serious note, you can't lump what you see one car do into the group as a whole, I've seen preludes walk all over neons, and have seen neons walk all over preludes, if you were to pit the fastest car of one brand to the fastest car of another brand that would tell what the best of each could do, and even then it usually equates down to who has the deeper pockets.

I respect Prelude's, because if you read, I said I've been beatin by one...
Nothing like good ol' fashioned poor reading comprehension, to make you look silly...
