Default Biach in a Cadillac

This happened a while ago but I just thought I'd share:
I was in the HEMI getting gas and some kid and his friends pulled up in a Cadillac Seville and started telling me how nice of a truck it was. I was picking up a bit of sarcasm but I played along. He then said, "Yea I wish I could have a Ram like that." Before I could say anything he says, "Haha piece of ****! This is a Cadillac Northstar V-8!" He then drove off and peeled out very nicely, since it was raining and all. I have a bit of a temper and I was about to throw an empty Snapple bottle at his car but my friend told me not to. I wanted to race him but he was long gone by the time I was filled up. In case I ever see him again, how fast are those? It was a late 90's, before they made them all curvy. If anyone has seen the movie Pushing Tin it's the same kind of car John Cusack drove. With an attitude like that, most likely he was a ricer driving his daddy's car.

I ran one on the street several years ago with the Coronet. My car still had the 318 ( 85K+ miles) and 3.55 gears, and the 4-barrel was opening only half way. I beat the guy by a car length and it sounded like his engine was going to explode from the spark knock. In other words, the Hemi will spank the caddy bad.

I think this is the same car I smoked a couple of weeks ago. Little ***** cut me off and took me off the freeway with his brilliant move. I proceeded to let the temper go and see what daddy's car could do. When the speed limiter kicked in I had him by a good 10 lengths. So from 75-110 I pulled him pretty hard. After that I am sure he could have passed me assuming the caddy is not limited to 110 or less.

Sorry, but it all depends on the year of the STS, I have seen these times for the STS:

Year 0-60 1/4mile
1995 Cadillac STS 6.4 14.7
1996 Cadillac STS 6.4 14.7
1998 Cadillac STS 6.8 15.1
2001 Cadillac Seville STS 6.5 14.8

So there is a chance that you may have gotten beat. Remember, most races come down to the driver....you can have a fast car but if you can't drive it, then its no good to ya. There is even the right way to drive an automatic and the wrong way. But looking at these times and your e/t of 15.01 it looks like it comes down to the driver and model year.

Well comething really messed up happened today:

It was my first day at work and this one guy that I work with and had been talking to all day turned out to be the guy. We kept saying we thought we had met each other before. Well turns out he was joking and I took it too seriously. He was complementing my truck. The guy is really cool, funny how stuff like that happens.

Just be glad you didn't run into him and find out that he was an off duty cop that held a grudge.[sm=smiley3.gif][sm=smiley15.gif][sm=smiley36.gif]
