kill story of a doge(5.9) and ford 4.6

Junkman, I don't know what you aren't understanding about my statements.
He said a "naturally aspirated" 388. Now, that's no nitrous, no blower, no turbo, nada.
Just good ole fuel injection or carb and porting and pump gas.
If you are claiming that you are putting 590 hp at the wheels with a small cam and no forced induction and a 302 then I would love to see what kind of stock cam you are talking about.
I think you either have ALOT of compression or you have a turbo or some other type of forced induction, nitrous, etc...if not, sorry I'm going to have to call B.S.
As for your cousins car, I believe it completely, but you are not claiming that he makes 600 at the wheels, more like 500 running 11.30's. Which TRex cam is he using?
You see, I also appreciate GM's technology with the LS1 engine. The wide lobe separation makes a very broad torque curve and they make up for closing the intake valve earlier (which would hurt high end power) by adding more duration and upping the compression(11:1).

. The whole bottom is as far from stock as can be. True, he doesn't make 600 whp. I wouldn't even say 500. Hell I don't know. Anyways who cares about that, your truck is cool.

I'd definately love to know what stock ford motor lays out 590hp.... thats a joke in the making.

Ls1's are impressive. I don't know much about them, but his is fast. On the 302 The only stock parts are the cam. The heads are stock 97 explorers with a little headwork

I do not see why you would use the truck heads if you do not have nitrous.

Did you end up selling the car?
It didn't look like a 6.90 car in the pics but it's probably pretty light.

Hey, where did you go junkman306? I was just messin with you, LOL!
I saw some of your posts on Mokan and Ozark Dragstrip websites.
I couldn't find a sig on any of your posts though.
Can you tell us a little more about the combo? 13.5:1 compression and good heads is still asking alot out of just having a stock camshaft.
Oh well.

moparman your postin too fast lol. No the windsor isn't done yet. I ran out of money. Those pics are actually the sister car to my nmra car. It looks the same with a 6 inch cowl hood and some massive drag radials. You should've been here for the street machine nationals last weekend. Those boys come to race. Thats funny that you found me on 100mphclub. mokandragway.com and ozarkdragstrip.com are good sites too. You need to come out here to the sticks and Fred Smith's 78 malibu. It's a twin turbo 502 with full interior. Before his health got too bad to go run around, we'd load up 5 or 6 peopel in it and go to springfield and cruise town. We'd play with corvettes and stuff and give them a big head and then at the next stoplight Fred would let er go and hang the front wheels about 3 feet in the air. What a trip.
