kill story of a doge(5.9) and ford 4.6
Eagle, eagle, eagle...600hp at the rear wheels normally aspirated daily driver 388ci smallblock.
tsk, tsk, tsk.
So lets do like you said and do us all a favor and think a little here before we speak, hmmmm...
Ok, you need 670 hp at the crank, daily driver smallblock...hmmmm...that's only 388ci...It'll probably make that N/A but you'll need a big cam, no I mean a BIG CAM! and nice heads, no not swirl polished blah blah, I mean AFR/BRODIX/WORLD type NICE HEADS!...peak hp at around 6600 rpm... peak tq at around 5600...
hmmm...you have 3.73 gears and you say you get many mpg in overdrive...Hmmm...SORRY, aint gonna happen with this monster and there's still the matter of the tranny and rear gearing...hmmm...your T56 ratios are as follows:
First 2.97:1, Second 2.07:1, Third 1.43:1, Forth 1.00:1, Fifth 0.80:1, Sixth 0.62:1.
Hmmm...your axle ratio is 3.73:1 and you go through in 3rd, so your effective ratio in 3rd is 5.33:1! My 5.13's arent so bad eh?
Also you stated that you tached at 1700 in O.D., but your engine will barely run at 1700rpm making about 60hp and 170 ft pounds of torque with much reversion and very low vacuum. You won't be setting any mileage records as that thing is going to suck gas like no tommorrow and the volumetric efficiency is a whopping 48% at 1700rpm.
But wait, there's more...hmmm...That T56 is only rated to 400ftlb, this animal is making 560 at 5600. tsk, tsk.
See Eagle, it's not that easy over here in the Dodge camp.
If you think about it, your story wouldn't be too bad if you had kept it around 12.5 seconds, but thanks for letting me be the first to call BULL**** on your silly ***, now go back to dreaming about your loss to the mighty Hemi Ram Honda boy and take that 12 second camaro with you!
tsk, tsk, tsk.

oh wow you can talk **** on the internet. but who cant? anyway 2.66/1.78/1.30/1.00/.74/.50 theres the ratios so why dont you spend more time looking up stuff. since you dont know that what other area do you lack in? my guess every where. what makes you an expert on my motor you say itll barely run at 1700 you dont know what kind of vaccuum an extreme energy cam makes with its agressive lobe profile oh well you retard. and i never stated that my transmission was stock nor did i mention it wasnt. there you go assuming again. and its 450 ft lbs on the stock transmission keep in mind thats stock. so just keep your **** to yourself.
for all we know, we all drive yugos that wont make it a quarter mile without getting out and cranking them, so lets throttle back on the pointless trash talk here...thank you.

Sounds good to me Moparman.........At the same time Badstat is right, we could all drive ****boxes for all anyone knows, so are there any pics of this mythical truck???
to the chevy king. i have an 06/ rt charger im still moding its not quite finished . on the other hand if you want to take a couple of runs against me i would be happy to run you in my 1970 SS El Camino 396 . 475 rwhp . lots of mods. Plenty of wins in this car.
5.9s in trucks have always been the epitome of industrial, low compression, tough as nails old Iron. They are in no way racing engines from the factory.
Takes few Gs to make 400hp though. The problem is always the low compression

Horse, I gotta tell you, Im gonna believe this story. I will before it before I believe the 10,000 Ford and Chevy Bull **** stories I have scene on the net,
yours sounds much more credible

Well, I still don't have a digital camera, but my Bud's wife took this pick. It's not very good, but there it is. As for you Eagle, all I've heard is swirl polished valve this and extreme energy that, if you're not bull****ting, let's hear the specs. With those gears in that tranny, you'd need even more bottom end to get that thing moving. Also, your childish insults such as "retard" make you look like a hypocrite. I know cam specifications, you on the other hand don't even know the specs on your own cam! And you built it? Ha!
I've learned from talking to gurus like Ken Brownfield at Airflow Research, which used to be Brownfield heads, Harold Brookshire formerly Ultradyne Cams owner who went to Comp Cams and helped with the Extreme Energy line and is now at Lunati cams, and Jim Dowell at Racer Brown Cams. I have read books by Smokey Unick, Larry Sheppard, Don Garlits, Grumpy Jenkins, David Vizard, and many others.
I spend hours on my Engine Analyzer Pro Dyno Simulator running different combinations for my friends and customers.
Now I know you are just starting out so I'll lighten up, but remember, you were the one lecturing everybody on what they should race and how they should act.
Don't get all pissy when it turns out that you should have kept your mouth shut and learned something useful instead of lecturing people. Now you get lectured and you can't hang, hiding your ignorance behind insults.
This forum is great to hang out and get useful information, there are alot of folks here with alot of knowledge. But it is also hard to fool these same people, better luck next time, let me know when you'll be needing a cage for that transcamaro.
