I knew this would happen eventually. That's terrible they are letting them in. Who's next? Suzuki?

What is so bad about it...they have been racing in the truck series for quite awhile now. It is not like there is really anyting "stock" about stock car racing. ...and if memory serves me correctly, the Camry is made right here in the USofA.

My beef with TOYota getting involved is when TOYota got started in the truck series, the Big Three supposively had to help them build an engine and TOYota got to use each of the Big Three's advantage in building their engine. The engine that Dodge, Ford, and Chevrolet use were used in their past cars at least whereas TOYota will be using an engine that they have never used outside the track in any vehicle. That is what I don't like. I think that NASCAR needs to be more like the way they used to be. They should only use the engines and transmissions available with the car they are sponsoring with the actual platform the car is on. Dodge, Ford, and Chevrolet all use the same platform, have the same displacement, all have four-speed manuals, etc. This is why it is too close. Part of the fun is seeing which manufacturer really makes a better car, not which guy gets lucky. Meaning Dodge should use the 5.7L due to the displacement limit, Chevrolet should use the 5.3L in the Monte Carlo, and Ford should use the 3.0L until they learn to offer a decent size engine in their cars.

Has anyone taken a count of how many drivers, that have their own car dealerships, are selling Toyotas, Hondas, etc? I've heard it from different ones and the last one I recall is Rusty Wallace and his Honda cars. If the drivers themselves are selling "foreign" cars then people shouldn't be so upset about it.
