I cruise around some other sites and just read the posts. On many of them people hate Dale Jr.

They say that he is riding his pops name. Find it hard to hate DJ. HE is great for the sport.

 

I agree Vader. It is hard to say he's riden the name when he keeps winning races. I'm sure the name did not hurt getting started, but it looks like he is making it on his own.

 

I was never a big fan of Dale Sr. due to his habit of driving over other drivers rather than around them. But I was shocked at his death and feel NASCAR lost a true champion. I've been more impressed with Dale Jr, his driving skills are more refined and he is more outgoing in the personality department. If he can hold up under the spotlight, he has a great future....[sm=smiley16.gif]

 

I loved to hate #3... but when he died I felt like I lost my hero. #8 is awesome IMO... a champion in his own right.

You guys and gal are right! Uh, oh, the "redneck" is coming out.... Junior is a skilled driver in his own right. Yes, he does have that name, but he's been able to strike a contract deal with Teresa, and do quite well in the points. And he's easy on the eyes, too, Amanda!

 

Yes he is!! I prefer when he's got his goatee going... but yes... I think he's a cutie!!
