SRT-4 vs NSX
Actually, it is a smart mans Ferrari; it is maybe is not as fast but it is very well made and it is so much easier to get parts for the NSX vs. a Ferrari. Much cheaper as well! Plus, 75-85K is by no means cheap and you would still get the looks and respect from other car enthusiasts for it's supercar looks.

About what year NSX? Did he have an ATX or MTX?

Dont be fooled by the SRT-4's numbers....just because it SHOULD be faster then something else dont mean squat if you cant drive it or if you dont switch gears perfectly

The guy told me it was an 01 NSX. My driving was fine, his car was just a little faster.

I saw an NSX at the track the other day running low 13's.
I don't know what was done to it though. It's a nice car and all, but just out of my league as far as price.
A Dodge Dart with a few mods would annhilate it both on road courses and at the strip.
I guess it doesn't matter though, It is a good looking car, and that seems to be more important than performance per dollar.

Okay, I could believe at the strip....but the NSX is one of those road course style cars....I think it would depend on those "mods"

Anyway it was a low budget 69 Plymouth Valiant that they used 70's cop car rotors, brakes and suspension on and threw on some modified mopar SS springs.
They ended up KILLING the competition in their class and placed very well overall considering they were racing some SS/GT cars.
Here's a link for 1996:

And here's the 1997 race:

Enjoy!
Like I said, I would think it would all depend on those "mods". Beyond that, I'd honestly agree with you. I've seen some of those super fast Darts....and know they arent a car to overlook.
That's also depending on which model Dart and what engine was in it too...
