i think that the neon RT, with a 5 speed, will beat the Stratus RT sedan with a 5 speed, but it would be close. from what ive seen, the RT sedan is a bit slower than the coupe...ive never seen a sedan in the 15s, but ive seen plenty of coupes in the 15s, stock...the 01 neon rt is only listed as a 16.1 car...so in stock form, a newer neon RT would have a hard time with my coupe
im guessing weight is a bigger factor then horsepower cuz i would think 50 hp would make a big diff betwween the 2
Weight is always the biggest factor when comparing two cars. I've seen 350hp V8 cars getting beat by 250hp 4cyl cars.....as evidenced by the SRT-4.....
very tru but how does my sebring loose to my friends m35x that weighs 700 punds heavier then the sebring??
Automatic vs Manual, more hp to weight ratio, better traction/torque management.....these 3 things alone are probably the biggest factors in heads up drag racing....outside of the driver...
You can lose to a vehicle with the same hp or slightly more hp even if it weighs more then you.....it all depends on how your car handles shifting and how your car handles putting that power down to the ground....
