Hello everyone, man it's been awhile since i've been here. Well for an up date, me and my friend went to desoto speedway a couple of months ago, my first race was against a new audi s4, yeah you can guess the outcome of that one, then second race was against my friend, he ran a 15.3 i ran a 15.4, the last run he ran a 15.4 i ran a 15.3, so as you can see we were pretty even, i don't know why i was able to beat him so bad when we raced on the street, but in a perfect scenario at the track it's close.

Honestly......this is ridiculous......the only excitement i would get out of a titan, is ripping the 5.6 motor out and shoving it into a 350Z....
Your driving a truck by a company that had to twin cam there motors just to make any kind of TQ....Dodge has been making trucks cheaper, and faster than yours for how long????

Dude, you need to go play your little game....The point of this thread is that stock for stock these trucks are evenly matched and a lot depends on the driver and the start you get, so far everyone here has been pretty cool, unlike the guys at HTC, so don't start ripping on someone and make this a bashing thread.....it's all about having fun

2005 TITAN, you seem to be having fun with your titan witch is what you should do. I 'am a Ram Daytona owner and enjoy having fun to. The Rams and Titans have proven to be the best performers in our class of trucks and are pretty close when it comes to racing. I agree that driver error and expierence has alot to do with the outcomes of the races. I have had the chance to compete with titan owners and have won and lost against them. I never make challenges with other truck owners of any brand because you never know what the next man has, and if you lose you can't say I didn't know you had a supercharger, or you used nos, that's not fair. I like having fun with my friends as long as it's in a safe environment and knowone gets hurt. I like the titan, but I love my ram. Plus, this is nissans first production of a full sized truck, and I wasn't sure how they would do. The only thing that I can see is that they average the worst gas milage at 10.7mpg, while the ram averages 14.7. The titan is 1 tenths faster 0-60 with 18's, you add a set of 20's and that tenth of a second edge is gone. Im not going to rag on the titans because they're nice trucks, but I believe that the Rams offers a bolder look of performance and gives you more for your money when you purchase one. I didn't buy my truck stictly to race because I have a wife and two kids to take care of, but it's nice to know that if I choose to on occaision. I have a vehicle that's more than capable of satisfying my curiosity. If we keep this up it will force all of the competitors to build better trucks than we have now. So competition is a good for all of us. It would be nice if they would offer theSrt-8 engines in therams that are rated at around 420hp. Maybe with the addition of the titan, chevys vortex max rated at 367hp and the new toyota fullsize tundras new 5.7liter rated at 345-350hp they will consider it. I must say it would be nice, because it would force everyone else to step their game up.
