The point is that most everyone assumed he was in the Nissan, because of his name, and was one of the typical ricers comming on here to flame and downgrade Dodge. As was said, it was the cocky guy in the Ram that egged it on and wound up wearing it on his face. Sure this is like me posting about beating a Cavalier Z24 with my Roadrunner after he was revving his motor at me, well maybe not quite that bad, but the point is the same and he posted because the guy in the Ram was acting the way he did.

He did however overreact alot, but it was the build up of the lesser off/negative comments that made for his reaction, which was still far too much. I can understand a reaction from him, but not the unwarranted attack and cursing that he did lower to using.

but, it would be like me signing up for a ford site, with the user name BadMopar. the odds are, i will never have much more than negative thigs to add. my experience has been, with all of my various sites to which i belong, that people who come on and have non-affiliated names, woill only be trouble makers, and should be removed on their first offense, especially when it is someone like this child, who badmouths everything. the sites to which i belong are for dodge enthusiasts, and if someone comes on with 04specv, 1BadCobra, 1998GTP, so on, they arent there to be enthusiastic about dodge, they are only there to create problems.

case in point.

There are many that have been here with non-Mopar related names that happen to own a Dodge and are simply on here to seek out info and or help with their Dodges. Now if he were to have came here without owning any Mopars, then I would have the same thoughts as you perhaps, but he does list owning a Dodge and was not bad mouthing Dodges or this forum until he was unfairly judged. I challenge anyone to find any proof that he was here to stir up trouble and cause problems based on his first post. The closest I can come is when he said, "i dont care to mention what i drive it wouldnt matter to yall anyways", which to me simply means that he wasn't in a Dodge. And he probably didn't want to get attacked for saying that it was in his modded GT, which wound up happening anyway. He may simply be using a name and password that he is use to so that he doesn't have to worry about forgetting a new name and password. I know many that use the same name and password everywhere to keep it easy and simple.

Here again though your going by an assumption based on ones appearance, in this case their name, and not truely on the content of the individual. Granted after he retaliated, which was way overboard, then his comments warranted what he got, but only after his second and third posts. Just because the majority with names like that are ones trying to start stuff, doesn't mean they all are and to judge based on the majority is a prejudice (to pre judge, to judge without knowing).

A friend of mine could come on here as 03TibGT, because that is what he now has. He could post about beating a riced up Neon that kept getting next to him and revving it trying to start a race and then how badly he beat the moron in the ricey Neon. Then he would get the same unwarranted negative reaction. What you would never have found out, due to this kind of reaction, was that he has owned a few Mopars and happens to like them. He has owned at least 3 of which one was a '71 Satellite Sebring and he would love to find and get a '71 GTX just like his dad use to have. These are just a few of the things no one would have known due to this type of pre-judging based on appearance. This is what I'm talking about.[sm=smiley2.gif]

BTW: Have you even thought to check out his other posts on DF, he was indeed here for help and info on the Neon. He only has made one other arguable comment and that was in the Sights & Sounds section where he was trying to defend a Mustang that showed up at the end of the video in the "Sore Loser?" thread. The Mustang didn't stand a chance against the Vette or the Viper and he was talking about how it could be one of the 8 & 9 sec. Mustangs he's seen or heard of, which all of them that run that fast that I have seen are not street legal and have a full cage. But regardless, he was here for the right reasons and not what was assumed which was simply to flame.

welp, the end result was the same as someone who comes here just to start trouble. the onyl reason i care at all was in light of the recent problems in the truck section, which i was seemingly blamed for causing. i feel that i am pretty obviously NOT here to start troubles, and when something like that happened, only 2 people seemed to side with me, and one of them, i have no idea who he or she is, and the other is obvious.

if it was a first gen neon RT and the person could drive, any tiburon shouldnt give it a run. my buddy has an 04 and ive eaten him alive with my RT both from a roll, and from a stop. and if you dig deep enough, the 03 tib is almost a mopar...much in the same way that my car is a mitsubishi...but that ie neither here nor there.[sm=smiley1.gif]

and for being a modded mustang, im not impressed..

The Tib-Neon thing was just a "what if" example and not to be taken as an actual account of something that has happened.[sm=smiley36.gif] Those were just sample situations that mirror the one in question.[sm=smiley2.gif]

i knew that, but it presented a more interesting race then did the real story...haha

ive just never been impressed with the tib, especially seeing as how it is basically powered by a de-stroked 3.0 block, or at least a bottom end from the same engine family.

From what they started out as, they have come a long way and their performance isn't too bad either. They are kinda low on the power considering that they do have a V-6. They should have at least had 200 horsepower, there are 4 bangers with as much if not more power than the Tib V-6 without forced induction even. Now if they had the 300M's V-6, then they would be kickin' some a**. They have good fit and finish, but that doesn't win races. I would never own one, then again I'm Mopar or no car.[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]

Chrysler owns a portion and Dumler owns a much larger portion. This is why the next gen Neons are going to be Hyundai powered.[sm=smiley11.gif][sm=smiley11.gif][sm=smiley11.gif][sm=smiley21.gif][sm=smiley21.gif][sm=smiley35.gif][sm=smiley7.gif]
