Did Not Know Who Was #$*<^% With
So I'm heading home from Seattle, when this guy starts messing with me. I look over and it's a new moded GTi VR6. We hit the I-90 floating bridge and the next car was just going around the curve on the other side of the bridge. This is about two - three miles away, dual lanes wide open all the way, very rare for Seattle. This guy flys by me, so I drop it to 3rd gear. He had four car lenghts on me easy before I start pulling him in. Around 115 pass him. He is still trying, so I took it to around 135-140ish before I let off, Just to let him know he had NO chance. [sm=smiley15.gif]Slow down for the curve and whadya know, he does a typical losers fly by. [sm=smiley32.gif]What ever.
Just add one more to the ever growing kill list.

Good job! The GTi VR6 isn't exactly a slouch either with 200 horsepower, but the V6 and other things weigh it down to just under 3,100 lbs. keeping it's top end and acceleration down.[sm=smiley20.gif]
I was thinking he said Neon R/T too... but I wasn't positive...

hmm..must have been an auto GTi....especialy with a V6....off the line, the RT should have the advantage,,,but high end like that, the cubes should take over...are you modded RTdriver?
I am an all-motor Neon R/T. It has Intake, T/B, Intake Manifold, P&P head, five angle value job, Crane 16's, Kirk racing header, Magnaflow exhaust, S-AFC, AFX-Man. Race ECU, No P/S, A/C, P/W, P/D, C/C, or tar paper, Custom clutch, Al. flywheel, Stage three axles, and more.
In the next few months I am doing a motor swap to the 2.4 thats in the PT.

Hmm....must have been an auto. My buddies 20th ann. GTI 1.8T 6spd (stock) can run a mid to high 14. The VR6 is just slightly slower, if not the same. Your R/T is running those numbers? Probably with those many/kinds of mods.
