Default Hemi vs. Hemi

Well yesterday I was driving down this road and I see an 06 dakota with a dude about my age in it so I started playing with him to see if he wanted to run it, well we pulled up at a stop light and I punched it. He to my surprise didn't jump so I let off as my girl friend yells "AHH DAVID YOU'RE LOSING" I was startled so I look over at her and to my surprise I see a magnum R/T on 22's pulling on me, I was unaware he was there so I stomp it and I catch him. We were neck and neck for probably a half to three quarters of a mile until I got to about 110 then I decided to ease off because I didn't want to take it faster than that and he pulled me. we stopped at the next light and we both jumped it and we were together until he slammed the brakes and made a right turn off the road. I thought they were faster than that. I am in a 2006 RCSB hemi ram on 17's and he was in an 05 magnum R/T on 22's. I figured he would have beat me by a half to a full second but it wasn't the case. I guess though those aren't much lighter than me and he had big heavy 22's. What do you guys think? Let me know why you think we stayed together or just your input on my race.

Dodge Commerical:
Exotic Driver: "What you got in that thing?"
Magnum Driver: "An amp, 6 2X4's, Guitar..."

Or something aronud that. The 22's hurt his gearing a bit, and probably added weight to his car. Who knows what he coulda had in the car? A/V equiptement or anything else that adds weight to the car. THat combined with driver error could cause any car to be slower then it SHOULD be. Theres a difference between driving a fast car, and knowing how to drive a fast car.

Chris

**EDIT: Here's an example of someone that has no idea how to drive a fast car: http://videos.streetfire.net/search/Mustang crash/0/B1EA70C2-4515-4E9C-8900-F666828189E0.htm

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

people go for big rims not realizing that big rims = more weight and more lag on accelerationg (more tire to move before the car moves). So... even though small rims look rediculous they do have a purpose.

And... btw, good kill. I see people all the time driving lowered trucks with 22 inch rims like they were built for autocross. Sad days when I see them... glad to see someone put the meaning of hemi back into its RIGHTFULL place!!!

Yeah I was considering 20's on my truck but I decided I am just keeping my 17's and putting some good rubber on them to hook up well.

Yea, I love how people build fast cars, and put 18"+ rims on there cars. Completely pointless. I personally am going to put ether 22" or 24" rims on my truck, but don't race my truck so I really odn't mind. Just for looks. Still could put some Honda's in it's place.

haha oh yeah. I'm sure once my warranty is up and I get a supercharger or turbo I will have to get some 20's with huge rubber for traction but until then my 17's stay.

When you do that you should take out the "SLT" decals and put up some "?" instead. lOl i got that idea from a friend.
