in 97 they made a 2 door wrx sti and i think that was the only year they did

 

there were 2 door imprezas sold in the US, and the performance model of that was the "2.5RS", but that wasnt offereduntil 98, i believe. It was NA, and fairly slow...I am pretty sure that there was never a wrz or wrxSTi 2 door sold in the US market.

 

I don't think there was ever a 2 door WRX or STi in either the US or Japan.

 

i thought that there was a japanese model, 2-door that was boosted?
