stock hemi shootout..
i thought you magnum guys would like this, if you didnt make it to the nationals..
the far lane is a stock hemi challenger, the near lane is a magnum...the smoke in the first pic is from the magnum!

half track, and the magnum begins to walk..

the magnum took it!
the last 2 pics were too far away to be clear..i mght try to enhance them and post them too.

the magnum ran soemthing like a 14.58, with the challenger running like a 14.72 i believe...and the magnum had the hole shot...(must have been the huge burnout!!!)
also,im not a big fan of the wagon look,although it is the only wagon id own....however, seeing that big car haul *** down the track was pretty cool. there was a guy with exhaust, and an intake/K&N kit, who ran 14.20s!!
wagons=bad
wagon that will hang with stock gt stang- very cool.

No offense to anyone here, or elsewhere, but I find it hard to believe the Challenger lost. I mean a 426 Hemi only ran a 14.72?????????????????????????? Talk about falling asleep at the tree. WOW!!!
well, all things considered...the ebody had "Stock" tires, didnt really do a burnout..so on...i believe that while the ebody lost, his mph was huge compared to the magnum. he also got tree'd, but that wont account for the worse ET.
I don't care what anybody says about either car. Driver does make a big difference. Also you have to remember this is HP old, throw cubes at it, to HP new, computer runs the show, which is getting real tough to win against.
I do have to say is that we are back in an era of HP agian and I love it!

i know what you mean, but it sure didnt look like it was spitting out alot of carbon. however, the whole new car exhibition was sponsered by dodge...perhaps they told the ebody driver to make the magnum look really fast. but i was very impressed, whether they let him win or not!
