Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

I wonder if the 2500's have the same issues with the front ends as the 1500's?
2500's should be solid axle fronts.

my son who now runs the family business gets a new 2500 4WD every year. Puts about 75000 miles per year on one. He has not had a minutes trouble with any of them. They are great drivers. I really do not know if they are solid axle fronts or independent. We also have a 4500 that I know has a solid front axle. Most of the classics I have built are Chevys but I love the Mopars. I lost my shirt in a Chrysler Plymouth dealership in the mid 60s. Raced a 57 Plymouth 2 door wagon with a stage 3 426 wedge for several years that ran on the national record in B modified production. Worn a lot of hats in my 82 year. Been blessed.
