Ramcharger 5.7 Hemi swap
Ok now i see it, I usually click on the newest post on the main page so i didn't see it. Nice work! I have 78 power wagon witch i want to do something similar. On the fence to go with a second gen frame or with a hemi. It's 4WD and i don't like the 3rd gens with the independent front ends. I wonder if the 2500's have the same issues with the front ends as the 1500's?
my son who now runs the family business gets a new 2500 4WD every year. Puts about 75000 miles per year on one. He has not had a minutes trouble with any of them. They are great drivers. I really do not know if they are solid axle fronts or independent. We also have a 4500 that I know has a solid front axle. Most of the classics I have built are Chevys but I love the Mopars. I lost my shirt in a Chrysler Plymouth dealership in the mid 60s. Raced a 57 Plymouth 2 door wagon with a stage 3 426 wedge for several years that ran on the national record in B modified production. Worn a lot of hats in my 82 year. Been blessed.
