Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Might put some dye in the oil, clean the engine off really well, drive it for a bit, and then have a look with a UV light.

Check for fuel leaking anywhere under the hood. Gas leaks are bad news.

Look at the intake gasket at the back of the engine. Oil loves to leak there especially if you still have the cork gasket.

The UV dye is the way to go. I've found numerous leaks over the years with it. One thing I haven't seen mentioned is the oil sending unit. I've seen them seep and lose oil slowly. This can trickle down onto the exhaust manifolds and give you the smell.

As for the fuel smell, when do you smell it? When the engine is running? After you shut it off? Moving or parked?
