Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Return of the Dodge Ramcharger?

I'd like to see the engineering justification for that. I always thought a V configuration was easier to balance along with a shorter design length to help with weight distribution.. The Packard straight 8 was a powerful engine but the V-8 was better.

I wonder if a 2 door Wagoneer could be built with a Ram designation and more towards off road than luxury.

They just do things like eliminate the mechanical fan, and go pure electric for cooling. That gives enough space for the longer engine..... and various other tricks of that nature.
