Ramcharger, Trailduster & Power Wagon Grrrr!! Tough Trucks! The Dodge Ramcharger and Plymouth Trailduster were full size SUV's that had good looks and brute strength. The Dodge Power Wagon was comparable to them in toughness, but came in pickup truck form only.

Default 1985 dodge ram w150 carb question

i have a dodge ram w150 that i am working on as a project right now. i want to have it painted but before i make an investment like that i want to figure something out. when i got it it had a log book of the gas mileage that it was getting and it was in the 19-22 mpg range. i had the carb replaced because it had been sitting for a while and one of my dad's friends thinks he put the wrong year carb on. i think the carb is ment for an '86 and i was wondering if that could be the problem because right now it is getting 9-12 mpg. and if someone knows of a place i could order a new one i would greatly appricate it.

Don't think the year model for the carb would matter. Sounds like the carb that was put on could use some adjusting though.

Here is a link where you may find one for the 85 if you want.......
