Default Duty Cycle Purge Solenoid Question

Hey everyone! So I finally have gotten around to doing the plenum upgrade, throttle body mod, headers, 180 stat, ign. coil, CAI .......
So my question is, on my truck, 1999 ram sport, I don't have the Leak Detection Pump that I have seen in pictures of other trucks. I only have the DCP solenoid. So coming up from the evaporation canister on the passenger side is the thick hose....mine is cut/broken off right at the back of the engine compartment. Where is this supposed to go and get connected to? On my truck where the surpentine belt diagram is, it has the picture and says it goes to evap canister vent????

Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks in advance!!

This is not my truck, mine only has the DCP. This has the LDP. The hose in question is the fat one on the bottom. Mine goes to no where.....

LDP started in 98.

One hose goes to the throttle body, the other goes back to the evap canister. Canister *should* be on drivers side, slightly behind the front seat. (depends on cab config.)

My cannisters are back underneath mounted on frame on passenger side.

It's the fat 90 degree hose on far right that heads up to engine compartment......(btw, please ignore the crud and rust I'm gonna get to that.....)

Not sure about the 99's but my 96 has a vent tube that is on the opposite side(96 had the canister on the drivers side). It should have a vent cap on it, Mine did not and the canister filled with water.
