It's the shock of his death. He was only 57, reclusive, yet an absolutely brilliant musician and fantastic showman. Add to that a lot of performers have been getting picked off like flies in 2016 seems to add insult to injury.

Oh, that's AWESOME! Even my wife got a good laugh out of that.

I have turkey that get as close. (not pets.....) Of course, it doesn't hurt there is an apple tree right outside the window. Get deer walking up my driveway as well...... I can hear coyotes on a routine basis, but, haven't actually seen any yet. My dogs keep away the lesser critters. There are no rabbits, squirrels, or coons in my yard. I have had one woodchuck, and he lasted about five minutes before the dogs were having him for lunch.

We have chickens and the coop attracts alot of critters. Mostly coon and some oppossum. One year I trapped 17. The dogs ran one up my front porch post . The darn thing was hanging from the porch beam. Made easy pickens...Bang! Those dogs were on that coon before it hit the ground.
Our dogs cant get to the back of the house so the Oppossum come up to the back door to eat the cats food. There tricky to get cuz youve got to lift the window real slow.
Now I dont enjoy pluggin those critters but when they start killing my chickens then its game on.

They aren't mine and I have no idea who owns them. I fed them some seed and was watching them eat when my one cat scared them off. I didn't know she was outside, and I think she was watching them from her vantage point in the trees. I heard some banging, some hissing, and the two birds squawking before I saw them racing across the back yard. They wandered for a bit and disappeared.
