I have a 01 dakota 3.9 2wd ,2door ,an was looking to change the filter an fluid at transmission pan.
Is there a 2nd filter that's round on my type?
An does brand matter so long as it's the aft 4 fluid?
Also what weight on the gear oil change for the rear ,at times I'll be pulling a trailer. An do I need the traction additive ?
Also what is the torque for gasket an filter.
Any info is appreciated .

Wouldn't it be better to archive these old threads rather than keeping them in the feed??
When I get an email that says this thread has been updated, I assume it is a current thread.
No reason I should have to play "Sherlock Holmes" just to reply to an email!. If this is not
possible, perhaps we need to find some other software that allows archiving to be separate
from live feed!
Other sites I have been on do not have this issue!
Sorry someone feels victimized. Didn't they read the thread date?
Or did they just assume.... as I did , the thread is current......?
