I have a 06 dodge charge hemi 5.7, I found a 06 dodge ram 1500 with a 5.7 hemi. Some people said it would work,some says it want. Does anybody know if the the ram hemi will fit into charger. I appreciate any knowledge you all can throw at me

Whats wrong with the motor in the car? I think the truck motor will have a different cam..... not sure what other differences there may be.

Hemi 5.7
Had thrown two rods through bottom of engine

Ok, yeah. That's definitely a candidate for replacement.
I don't think you want a truck motor though.......

Truck motor want work with it or just not a good motor to put back in it

Just not a good motor to put back in. I think the cams are different, therefore, the programming in the PCM would also be different.
