Default Air bags???

Do you think Airbags are "good" OR "bad" on street cars/trucks.
Aside from being "COOL" with the ability to raise and lower on command.

It all depends on how you want to use your vehicle, either bouncing up and down, or racing at the track. I think people in general are more impressed with track/strip performance than a gimmick like an air bag, IMHO.[sm=smiley14.gif]

I wouldn't use airbags on anything. If you want a good suspension, then buy a good suspension.

My Dad is putting a full air-bag suspension on his 76' Chevy custom sportside. It is already lowered, but he wants a smoother ride. The system gets rid of the rear old-school springs and adds a fully adjustable suspension. He has a 454 bored .60 over, so that equates to a 505 cubic inch motor that on a dyno made 450 rwhp on a small 750 cfm carburetor with pumpgas. He told me with this system, it should hook really well off the line. I will let you know how it handles when he gets it installed.

airbags rule, i put em on my daily driver, my only car, and if you really believe that airbags = rice then um (some kind of really scary offensive threat)

Why does people associate airbags with imports when really they originated in the mini truck scene as for performance alot of guy are actually putting bags on drag cars now and road race cars .
