So what I'm saying is: The lights aren't faulty or causing the problem, it's a problem with those with the REN or high bus system which is picky about voltage drains from the main bus.
Hmmmm.. at first I thought this was a possibility as I do have the REN... then I thought on it a little harder. I'm not convinced now. I will have to do some measuring, but I doubt the HID's draw much more current than the stock bulbs.

Anyone with the interference problem have a standard (non touch screen) head ?

So a relay with a direct connection to the battery will cure the interference issues? The kits are advertised as 35 watts and need a resistor to increase the consumption up to the standard 55 that the PCM looks for.

Condsidering this is supposed to be "plug and play" for our trucks, we shouldn't have to ask for capacitors. Just like when my lights wouldn't work at all after install, HID extra said to reverse the positive/negative wiring harness. I did and it worked, but why?

Not to argue, but I think they are plug and play. I did not have to cut or splice anything together for the kit to install correctly. The capacitors or relay that they provide, plugs directly inline with the unit with no modifications. With the thousands of different cars out there to choose from, there's no way a small business can carry all the different kits with special needs as ours do - capacitors or relays. Others need different relays with additional wires or capacitors with diff ohms or resistance.

As for the polarity issue, not every vehicle is manufactured the same and use the same wiring specs. Otherwise things would be a whole lot simpler. As we all know, that would be a perfect world... Why do we run on 120 and overseas runs on 220? Overall, these kits are universal. Able to work on different vehicles with different types of wiring specs, so yes, some vehicles will have to reverse the polarity to work correctly or need additional parts. But they don't send you something that you need to fabricate or cut to size to work properly, therefore; plug and play.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for helping me explain you target the answers right on spot. and yes there are too many make and model cars and some cars have their wires built reversed so we just need to do the same to get it working

Greatly appreciate your help!
