SInce the low tire pressure is not related to the HIDs in anyway, the only thing could be the fuse being pulled in too much power when the HIDs is turned on but goes back to normal after the HID stablizes.
Thanks
MIchelle
I have a hard time believing that. I know the HIDs draw a decent amount of power at startup but there is no way it could trigger the low tire pressure light by drawing too much current. I'm fairly sure it has to do with the interferance from the ballast affecting the wireless sensors and recievers for the TPMS. It's the same thing that is affecting FM reception in low signal areas.Originally Posted by hidextra.com

Their HID kit interferes with FM signals, no reason it couldn't interfer with the frequency that is used by the TPMS Sensors too.Originally Posted by myoung84
I got my fog light kit in yesterday and got it installed. I had to reverse the polarity to get them to work but no big deal. The only problem I have is when I turn them on with the truck running, my low tire pressure light comes on for about 5-10 seconds then goes off. Any ideas what might cause this?
Rookie
Put the ballast in and they work again....didn't get and d-sided tape which SUCKS...
Also noticed my low tire light comes on at startup now to.
I had remote start installed, not sure which one caused it but it turn off after 3 sec
I have an aftermarket radio with all the goodies, no issues yet

I took these hids off my truck and reinstalled the stock lights. They ruined my FM reception and I questioned there dependablilty as they would sometimes flicker.
These are poor quality kits but you get what you pay for

HI,
For your first issue, the wire harness that came with your kit supposed to fit directly into your oem connector, unless somehow a wrong one was sent to you.
2nd issue, there are 2 locking points on our bulbs, usually just locking it upside down would solve the issue. Thanks~

The second issue was that one of the bulbs (halogen part) was facing down towards the road and the other headlight bulb was facing upward. I asked my installer why and he explained to me that the notches on the bulb itself was the problem. It prevented him from facing it the opposite direction.
The kit works fine, but I don't understand why I had these issues and why one of my bulbs had to be mounted upside down.

My installer said it wouldn't fit the other way.
The harness didn't fit at all, the installer had to cut off the HID wires....
I'm not happy.
