Has anyone else done an advance RMA, meaning you ordered the replacement part(s) needed, paid for them, then received reimbursement in some form (refund or store credit) upon proving the destruction of the original part or their receiving the original? I'm just trying to gauge how it went for other people to see if I am just being unreasonable in my request in my emails with Michelle.

I dont work for HIDextra im just a satisfied customer. I went through three different HID "plug and play" kits that were total crap. Things to keep in mind, if you sticking bare metal ends into your stock plug your kits is crap. If you have a quad headlight set-up like the late '09+ you need a capacitor (HIDextra will supply this just put it in the notes part of the checkout). The kit works! No BS, im going to post set-by-step instructions with pictures including a little custom work thats easy and seals everything up tight.

Per email reply, we changed our RMA process from sending in actual defects to sending pictures to claim for the replacements. We no longer do Advance RMAs as we don't do refunds, we only put credits towards the actual item that is defective. If a customer accidentally purchases a replacement before knowing about our warranty, they will still get the same replacement on the defect (since we replace the exact same item on the picture that we receive), the credit cannot be used for other parts, please understand that RMA means replacements (part to part) whatever was the problem, that is what we send you, so if a ballast is defect, we send you a ballast, same goes with bulbs, same bulb type and same color.

If you want the credit to be on a different part, that is called an "exchange" not an RMA replacement. Thanks for your understanding!

Michelle hooked me up with an extra discount since I ordered a second HID kit to get my bulbs here faster

I still think the whole RMA process is goofy, but all that matters is I will hopefully have a full working set of HIDs soon.
