When the capacitor wire harness blown, that means the polarity is incorrect. Do you need another pair? email me your info at info@hidextra.com and i'll send you some.

In my case, I must have had an extra defective set because the lights would NOT light up with the capacitors installed in one way, and when reversed, they lit up fine for a couple seconds, then started flashing, then the capacitors blew up.
Have you considered adding in some circuitry to prevent reversed polarity from powering and blowing up the capacitors? I'm assuming the current load and voltages in use in these trucks would overpower a standard diode, but I know it can be done. A little extra cost up front for the company probably beats having to send out the same part multiple times, and helps prevent user stories of your product exploding

Now i have a ? so does that mean that the new bulbs i recieved are reversed polarity?? because if you are saying that it blew because the polarity was reversed.. the only thing different in the whole set up was the bulbs.. everything was the same as it was for the bulbs i removed 2 min prior to installing the new ones..... I want to make sure so that i don't have this issue again.... all my wires were never removed from the ballast... so those stayed the same. and i made sure the connector from the harness was red to red and black to black..
