From my earlier thread today on my rough running and idling problem I'm going to change out my spark plugs when I do the oil change. What are the best ones to use power and economy wise? And how bad, because I've heard rumors about it being tough to change them all out. Any suggestions will help.
hands down ngk v-power run in everthing i own used on my last dodge also....2.13 each not just cause of price they run cooler than most plugs i heard that platinum plugs are a waste on our trucks....
Champion Copper core or NGK V-powers are the best choice for sure!!!!
I prefer the V-powers myself. Those gimmick plugs are just that. 3 and 4 ground straps? no need unless you are maybe running 30psi of boost.
Platinum last longer but has a weaker spark. Copper is the best conductor of electricity.
I've had great results with the Autolite 3923's, a lot of other 4.7 dakota guys have as well. Best part is they're very cheap, give them a shot and if you don't like them you've only lost $12-14 and maybe a half hour of time.
