Default 3.0L swap

I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but I have a question. I read a lot on this swap but I don't see much info on the Diamante 3.0 engine from the 1990's. Is it the same block? The reason I ask is because there seems to be many available at reasonable prices.

Default engine swap

I too would like to know what engines fit RIGHT INTO MY 1996 AVENGER which has a 2.5 now. What engines will bolt RIGHT in (mounts, wiring, etc.) and bolt RIGHT UP TO THE AUTOMATIC trans! In this area there are NO wrecking yards that carry my original engine. Will a 4-cylinder bolt right in???
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks

The easiest swap I have read about is the 3.0L from the eclipse, stratus, and sebring from approximately 2000-2005. You have to make a hybrid from your old engine and the new one to make it work. I think some galants had that motor as well.

2000+ Eclipse
2001+ Sebring
2001+ Stratus
1999+ Galant

Bad Venge, can any chrysler sourced V6 (3.3L/3.8L, 3.5/4.0L SOHC) be swapped in and how would it be done?
