2000 Durango lugnuts
Hey guys, trying to replace all my lugnuts with MCGards. They come in 2 sizes width wise and the choices are 13/16" and 3/4"
I was wondering what size the originals are, though I believe 3/4", because when traveling I keep the original tools that came with the truck, though thank God, I didn't have to use them yet.
At home I use a socket and a hydraulic jack and I believe that the socket was a 3/4".
So I don't want to change them all and find out the hard way that I have the wrong wrench when on the road....
Does anyone know for sure?
Thanks,TV.

i think the factory lug nuts are metric, 19mm iirc(although it is possible that our impact set has both in it and im not home to check for you)
if i were you id just put a breaker bar and a socket in the back w/ the factory tools if you get a different size nut i actually had a piece of pipe in the back for a while, i think it was taken out and not put back in but using real tools over the factory kit is not a bad thing

Thank you Dan. I will have to check into these because the other day I looked at my lug nuts and because of my wheel design they're exposed to the elements with no cover or hub cap or anything and they were looking kind of rough. Not the rusted out break the bolt trying to remove it rough but rough enough for me to replace them to avoid any problems in the future.

3/4"s it is then and thank you all as always. I was moving the rims/tires from front to back while checking my brakes and a couple more caps fell off. Enough....
I went the MCGards.com and went through the Vehicle Application tab and took it from there. That's where the 2 choices were as to the sizes but I'll stick to the size as the ones on the Rango.
Summit Racing, seemed to have a good price on them.
Thanks again,

I reviewed McGards site, then priced the ones I wanted at Summit and Jegs. Summit was better by a dollar or two on every item. I them checked Summit against Amazon. Amazon was better by many dollars. Ordered the below from them (Amazon)
