Cool Hey guys! My baby is back!

Hey df'ers, I was just checking in. I am alive and well and wanted to give an update. My D got some much needed TLC 2 weeks ago with my tax $$$. New upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, rack and pinion, power steering pump, drilled and slotted rotors, new pads, bilsteins all around, polyurethane sway bar bushings, and new fog lights. I ended up having a few hangups. I bought all of my parts on rockauto and bought a rack and pinion for a 2wd by mistake . That cost me about 2.5 hours to find a ride to napa to get the right part after I dropped the old rack out. Thank god I had some $$$ set aside for anything else I found while in there. On Monday after the repairs I took the D down to my firestone got it aligned and got some toyo a/t's. I even found a little time yesterday and took her in to get detailed. Needless to say though she handles like a new truck all over again and I'm looking forward to some summer road trips where I'm not fighting a pull to the right and dealing with warped rotors...

I still have a minor trans fluid leak that I have to track down at the trans and the trans cooler lines are weeping. I got super lucky and ended up with not one but two freeze plugs leaking and of course they are the two behind the motor mounts. I was looking it over and it looks like I can get to them from the wheel wells with a little difficulty and the right tools. Otherwise I think I'll have to get creative and support 1 side of the engine at a time and remove the mounts. all in all though the remaining items to fix are dirt cheap and will just cost me my time.

I was so busy jammin through it the thought didn't even cross my mind, that and it's what I do 5 days a week just on semi's. LOL but just imagine how a bunch of quality parts would look in place of squishy stock components and you will get an idea. Moog, bilstein, centric, bendix, etc.

If they last as long as the bfg's I'll be thrilled with them. A coworker of mine ran the on his 3/4 ton cummins and ran them for 70k before he sold his truck and they still had 1/4" of tread

I'm liking them so far. I still have to put them through some rain, snow, and offroad conditions but i'm confident in their abilities. They don't run them on trophy trucks for nothing.
