Dash Gauges Not working No Bus Error
I need some help Please. I have a 2000 Ram 1500 Club cab with 5.9L. The Dash gauges have stopped working, when you start the truck the gauges try to go through its clearing process but never make it. All the idiot lights are On and the Odometer ends up reading a No Bus message. I did the Odometer Chec and got the following codes 900,920,921,940,950,999. Any help would be appreciated, I did try reseating the main harness connector out on the fuse block in the engine bay. Is it normal for the hold down screw on the connector to never really tighten down? Mine will tighten to a point but as it gets to a point where it starts to feel snug it lossens up. If you back the screw up slightly it will feel tight but it doesn't feel right. Help!!!!!! Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If you take off the large cover over by the battery, you will find the relays & fuses. If you look on the fuse block closest to the engine you will see a square 2 x 2 inch plastic connector with a bolt head right in the middle of it. If you back out that bolt you find it is a multi pin connector. It is that connector and its mounting bolt I have a concern about.

Dash Gauges Not working No Bus Error....... Update
Thanks for all the help, nothing I checked seem to fix the issue. For entertainment the gauges came to life yesterday morning when we hit 17 as a low. Loose pin somewhere?? LOL gotta lov it. I will have to see if it will stay alive once we start climbing above 30 again. Thanks again for all the input I was able to check things quickly and try to eliminate possible causes.
