i have 245/r70/17 tires now
i can get
265/r65/17 at a good price
i have 8x17 inches rim

are they safe to install
durango 2004 slt 2x4

 

Teh 265/65/17's are what is stock on the 4x4.

 

correction....245/70 r17 are stock tire size. the owners manual states that the 265/65 r17 is the optional size. the 245/70 r17 are hard to find in many brands.

Yeah..the 4x4 Durangos stock tires are 245/70/16..well thats what mine are on my 2003 durango slt 4X4..i have Kumho road ventures AT

 

I actually had 245/70r17 so i just went to a 265/70r17 looks alot better. and i can get them from any company

 

I have a 65 Dodge pickup with 8x17.5 Denman express front Denman 14x17.5 JUMBO TRAK rear.many companies still make 17.5 wheel size tires. firestone goodyear yokohama brideston. theyre listed medium truck. alliance 239 is good off road tire.
