What Did You Do To Your 2ND GEN RAM Today?
^I've been to two different Walmart stores in search of a Dash Cam for my diesel, (inexpensive). It appears if I want one from Walmart it's the $300+ Go-Pro.
Changed out a brake light bulb on the 98. I began getting parts from Advance Auto, the quality appears a bit better than their in town competitor. Fueled the diesel up at Kroger for .30 per gallon discount (most of the diesel in town is sold there as opposed to Murphy's at Walmart). K.

Rescued a 2nd gen gasser that couldn't make it back from the stampede pass service roads under its own power...
Had to pull it with a tow strap over and down the mountain to the bottom where we left the trailer, get it loaded on the trailer, and pull it another 40 miles over Snoqualmie pass to my buddies house.
the 360 in it still runs fine, but the POS automatic trans went out in it..
The cummins had no problem hauling it 60+ up the passes including 6% grades, etc. There was one point where we were getting on the freeway on a steep onramp and she broke the 35's loose on dry pavement accelerating because she wanted to go faster but that pesky trailer was trying to hold her back and failing at it lol.

LOL. Mine is still sitting on the trailer. Been on it for a month and gonna stay there until we need the trailer for something better or until I find somebody with a big back yard that wants a yard ornament.

best part is I had no trailer brakes!
My trailer brake controller got killed years ago. Never did replace it. The cummins held that load back pretty well though with just the motor. Used my gears more than my brakes. Even without an exhaust brake which I was pretty impressed by. I paced an empty tanker truck on the pass because I was unsure how it was going to handle holding back the load without an exhaust brake or trailer brakes, but it handled it no sweat. barely increased my braking distance.

Just down the road from me, there is a mud pit, that sees a lot of use on weekends. (especially holiday weekends....) Was sitting outside, playing with my dogs, when I saw an 80's S-blazer go past. Backwards...... It was an interesting shade of 'mud brown'..... Seems he didn't have any forward gears left.
